Locking parcels, annotations, and maps

 

You can lock your parcels, annotations, and maps to prevent them from being moved by accident.  (Locking parcels to each other is called Grouping.)  When DeedMapper opens your deed file it automatically locks maps and annotations, but parcels are unlocked unless you explicitly lock them.  Once you lock them they will remain locked until you unlock them.  Here’s how to lock a parcel:

 

  1. Select the item to be locked (See Selecting Items)
  2. Open the Edit menu and select Locked.
