Direct Line Software is focused on providing land record researchers the tools they need to locate historic land parcels. Our customers are primarily historians and genealogists, but the product has proved itself useful in real estate, archeology, and local government.
A Bit of History
DeedMapper 1.0 was introduced in 1994 as a DOS program. It was the first personal computer program to permit true mapping of multiple parcels on background maps. Since that time DeedMapper has evolved to version 4.2, a powerful Windows program with sophisticated deed entry, display, and analysis features. It remains the de facto standard for people engaged in historic land record research.
